Oral herpes need help?

i have had herpes my first infection affected the roof of my mouth that infection occured a few years ago ... about two months ago i developed sored tasted buds and now they wont go away initially i tried lysine and the sorednes s reduced but the soredness wont go away... can this be something else? can it be related to hiv??? i never tested for hiv
 
Anything can be related to HIV... well once your immune system starts failing. After that it'll be one problem or another. Fevers, rashes, open sores, colds that won't let up, etc.. If you've been tested for one STD you should have been tested for all of them. Get tested.
