I recently bought a boost nokia C3, but I decided to get an optus sim card so that I can get the turbo cap. Everything works fine- phone calls and messages etc, but I can't seem to connect to the internet using the phone. Is there something wrong with my settings that I can fix? Or is it impossible for me to access internet on a boost phone using an optus sim?
I'm fine to use WiFi because there are several local spots i get it fr free, but preferably I'd like to be able to access the internet using just the phone.
I already tried sending "SET" to 738 and didn't get a response. Maybe it's a different number for australia.
I did eventually get the new settings sent to me, i guess it just took a while to send through.
I saved these settings and tried my best to activate them on the phone.
I went into Web settings > Configuration settings > Configuration is prepaid WAP + MMS + Internet
and > Account is set to Optus Zoo WAP
i have also tried setting account to YESINTERNET but this does not work for me.
I also went to Settings> Configuration settings> Default config. settings
I set the configurations to Prepaid WAP + MMS + Internet
I Then went to Access points and changed from Boost internet to My access point.
From here i went to >Acess point settings > Bearer settings > Network type and set it to IPv4.
I have also tried IPv6 but to no avail.
