Optimus Prime corpse toy announced

We have a new standard everybody. Japan will be getting the Masterpiece Optimus Prime toy in a colour scheme based on the character's infamous corpse from the animated movie.

Well, why isn't he dead in the toy? I still have no idea why he changed color, but whatever.

I bet this ends up costing like $50. I think both the 20th anniversary and 25th anniversary Optimus Prime toys were.

Too bad it's not battle damaged. Prime had a big gaping hole in his stomach when he died.

My thoughts exactly. If he was battle damaged, I would buy it. But otherwise, it's basically a Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime and I don't need that.

Unless it's Blast Punch Optimus Primal. The one toy that desperately needs a darker repaint more than anything, and they leave it exactly the same as Hasbro's version.
