I'm thinking of applying for a History Degree at the Open University. I'm not doing this to improve my career as such (I'm already a happy tattoo artist), but obtaining a degree in something I love is something i've wanted to do a long time, and I feel this is the only way I can do it whilst working a full time job and supporting my family.
Has anybody studied, or is studying there? I'm a bit curious as to whether the online approach to study works. I should also note that i'm 25 and finished college 5 years ago so I may be a bit rusty when it comes to higher education.
