Recently, these breast cancer awareness bracelets have been banned at my high school as a distraction-- as if guys think about women any less now that they're gone.
Some people are telling me that they're too controversial, as if we ONLY love women who still have breasts, and not those who have lost them. That, I think, is a load of bull. If you say you love dogs, do you not still love your dog that died a year ago?
I know people who have lost relatives and friends to breast cancer, and they all own multiple bracelets. They fully support them. So why are so many people against them?
