Opinions on repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell (surprised no one else has asked this)?

So i was just wondering what people thought of Congress voting to (eventually) repeal the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy in the military.

For it or against it, and why ...
Just fyi - i'm for it
and sorry for asking the question again, but i couldnt find it when i did a search for "dont ask dont tell" on yahoo answers
