It was once such a secret,
Our hidden affections versus the open ones
But I’m no longer going to try to hide it,
So, all you jealous preps, put up the guns
There’s nothing to conceal,
Because there is nothing left that is real
I can’t just wait forever,
And end up with that little splurge of hope,
That disappoints me when I know we won’t be together
I won’t be just someone there,
When no one else will care
In this world, I believe I have some worth,
And after this, maybe I can rebirth
I had my eyes closed while being so patient,
I opened them, and realized there was no real agreement
You say this upsets you, makes you feel sad
But hey, you’re the one who made me feel that way, until I realized this was bad
So now that I’m finally free,
I now can open my eyes and see,
That you weren’t the one for me
I wrote it myself, it's really how I feel, so spread the critique or love?
I'm 12 by the way, so is this about my level or am I above?
