I'm in need of a new phone, and use Verizon Wireless. I went to my local Verizon store today, and was given the option of upgrading to a handful of phones of varying manufacturers: the Smooth, Glance, Intensity, Chocolate, and finally the Motorola Krave.
I'm not too keen on missing out on a QWERTY keyboard, as when I text, I prefer a full keyboard. That leaves out the Smooth, LG Chocolate, and LG Glance. The Samsung Intensity seems to have bad reviews due to key locking issues and freezing. That leaves the Krave.
The reviews for the Krave seem to be pretty balanced between negative and positive. I've heard that it has a tendency to freeze, and has a problem telling what keys are being touched on the touch screen, as well as slow menus. On the other hand, I've read that people have had none of these problems.
Seeing as this phone has been out for over a year, how is it doing for people who own it? Have you had any problems with freezing? Slow interface? Bad call quality? QWERTY keyboard not sensing the correct key presses? Bad battery life? Ever had to exchange it, and if so, why?
If you don't like this phone, would you recommend one of the others I listed, or do you know of a great quality phone that could suit what I'm looking for?
