I find it unfathomable that any film could possibly be funnier than This Is Spinal Tap.

I don't know what's worse; that only one other person mentioned it, or that someone listed White Chicks.
 
It is strange that no one has mentioned two of the funniest films ever made:

Its A Mad Mad Mad Mad World

and

Shot In The Dark.

Both made during the late 1960s, and both have stood the test of time. They are VERY VERY FUNNY!!!!

Newbie here who thinks Spinal Tap is in the top one of funny films ever. ;)

Absolutely hysterically funny. And such a good and faithful (and loving , it must be said) pastiche of rock banRAB...

Let's just say - I can never again think of Stonehenge without bursting out laughing! :D

And so many quotable lines!

I haven't seen it in a while but I love the quote from Beetle Juice when he is asked for his qualifications about being a gowl:
