How much should I save up?
A lot. At least 1500-2000 EUR for every month that you intend to travel, and that is rock-bottom, cheapest hostels and food from the supermarket. Add to this the cost of a flight ticket if you are from outside of Europe.
Is it fun?
Yes. (Everybody here will tell you that, because all of the regulars love to travel.)
Where do i stay each night?
Hostels, camping sites, couchsurfing.
What to bring?
2-4 changes of clothing, enough undies and socks for a week, if things get dirty wash them on the road. And a ton of money.
Should I do it at the age of 18?
If you got the money at 18, go for it.
Where to go?
The place that you'd love to see the most. There is no way you can see it all, prioritise. Plan on 2-3 weeks per country and 4-7 days for each big city.
