Hi everyone, this is kind of a long shot, but I thought I would give it a try.
I am 20. I have been clinically diagnosed with Graves' disease (hyperthyroid), Chronic daily transformed migraine (complicated type which mimic strokes), fibromyalgia, IBS, a sleep disorder, ovarian cysts and oligomenorrhea (irregular perioRAB), vitamin D deficiency, vitamin b12 deficiency, and iron deficiency; an MRI showed lesions on my brain as well.
As you can imagine this causes a lot of symptoms, but my neurologist is not satisfied with this, and is convinced another disease is at work for causing all of my symptoms. He just doesn't know what.
Due to so many symptoms, he is having trouble isolating the cause(s). All of my doctors find it very unusual to have so many co-existing conditions at such a young age. Life at times seems almost completely impossible. I am never without discomfort or pain, and developed most of these conditions within the same frame of time (migraine came first, the rest followed).
We have ruled out MS and cancer.
Does anyone out there know of any widespread conditions that can cause this, or anything similar? I am running out of ideas and options, and don't know where else to turn.
