I've had to wait almost a year to start college and was determined to become a ultrasound tech but now i'm starting to wonder if i can pull it off. I'm 26 and i dropped out of school when i was 17 but ended up getting my diploma last year. I hated highschool and barley ever went, my grades were good when i tried but all i cared about was the mean kids lol they scared me. anyways i wonder if being an ultrasound technician is too far out of reach for me, i remember nothing from highschool how would i do in biology? I wonder if i should stick to something like medical assistance, coding and phlebotomy? i have a lot more motivation now and can see enjoying school since i dont care about mean kids anymore lol
anyone a ultrasound tech and have an opinion?? and will people be even hiring sonographers in 2+ years?
i just dont want to make the wrong decision and waste time, i should have already graduated college!
