The tea party wouldn't exist if McCain was in office and doing the same exact things as Obama. Or it might but it would be only made up of libertarians and nrabroad
dumbass republicans.

Fuck Medicare and Social Security.

Learn to take care of yourself. I would gladly forfeit all the monies I've paid into brabroad
h through taxes if they would stop taking from it today. You can have what I put in but don't take any more cause I won't see a fucking dime out of that.

I think entitlement programs should be kept to a very minimum, and should be administered largely by the states, and nrabroad
by the federal government. This would allow states to see what works and what doesn't, and if someone does something stupid, the rabroad
her states could "bail them out" only if that state agreed to dismantle the program that caused the problem. I know it's easy to point at those "leave my medicare alone" signs, but nrabroad
everyone believes exactly the same thing. I could post up plenty of "assassinate Bush" signs or "Bush = 9/11" or whatever, and pretend they applied to all liberals. Doesn't make it true.

But, but... BUSH!

You just can't help it, can you?
The TEA (which is an acronym for Taxed Enough Already) movement started around the time Ron Paul was gaining popularity, and the first of the bailouts (yes, under BUSH) were being tossed around. This was after the first stimulus (yes, again under BUSH- don't you remember those piddly checks we grabroad
?) and people were getting fed up. It was obvious at the time that those in control of congress were perfectly happy to steal $10 from me, give me back $5, and call me stimulated. Your section in bold is particularly important, since we all know Bush wasn't singlehandedly responsible for turning a budget surplus into the highest* deficit. Congress had been controlled by the Dems for a few years by that time, and THEY were the ones running up the deficit with new entitlements. Now with the supermajority they briefly held, and Obama in the White House, one would have expected some real Hope N Change as promised. Obviously, they have failed to deliver.

* (at the time of the end of his term- it's actually much higher now thanks to Obama and the Dems)
