Opinion: Is it DANGEROUS posting your photos on yahoo answers through photobucket?

People are adding photos of them self all the time and asking "how do I look?".. Is this bad? Could people stalk them?
What if someone who knew them found it? How embarrassing..
 
I don't see how it's dangerous if you don't give out personal info. If someone who knows you sees it, so what, it's kinda funny. Someone could take your pic and use it for something else though.
 
it's more dangerous to click on their links to the pictures...you could easily get a virus
 
I don't think people can FIND you just by your pic...unless they have access to the police department. But I never put my pictures on a unsecured place like answers. I knew a guy who had a bunch of photos of himself stolen and the perpetrator used them to lie to this girl online. He told her he wanted to marry her and a bunch of other stuff. Fortunately the girl was smart enough to look up the REAL guy by searching for his name online. When the address didn't match up with what the faker said, she found the real guy's email and they both found out the truth.
 
yes, it is extremely dangerous. i have been to many seminars about online predators looking for girls, boys, kids, whatever. it is actually very easy to find someone even if you dont know them. the pedophile can focus in on something in the background of the pic and figure out alot about someone. school, team, etc and find them. It is not only dangerous, it is stupid. there are pervs all over the internet looking for someone to fantasize about. So, yes it is bad and yes they could be stalked. Much more to worry about than being embarrassed....another reason to NEVER give out any personal info online.
