OperaMini on TX

I try to install and use OperaMini browser on a TX. It needs IBM WebSphere Everyplace Micro Environment to be installed. When trying to download it from Palm I get the message that TX is not supported. But on other sites and in the OperaMini documentation it is stated that TX is supported. When I have version 5.7 of WME installed on the hanheld it goes to softreset at any change to memory settings in preferences and OperaMini closes without warning during page download. Even when starting other programmes the TX can go to softreset.

Is there anyone who can help me to find the correct versions of the software and make the right settings in preferences?

It works on my TX using:
J9JavaVMMidp20.prc
j9secpol.prc
JavaVMCheck_enUS.prc
opera-mini-3.0.6636-advanced-us.prc

I got the Java stuff here:
http://www.palm.com/us/support/jvm/

Below are instructions I got somewhere. It has been to long to remember.

Go to here for Java VM
*You'll want "Java VM" installed on your Palm
(Claim you have a T5 or a LifeDrive to get the Java .prc files on your TX)

After that, type this in Blazer www.mini.opera.com
(Follow the instructions)

Now after Opera Mini is on your Palm TX
Go to Preferences> Java VM (You should see it at the very bottom)

For Opera Mini
1. Check both:
"Use double buffering"
"Use high resolution coordinates"

2. Set the "Memory maximum" to 4mb you'll set this to either 8MB or 32MB later.
3. Set the Maximum Java Thread Stack size to 32KB.

Then exit and make sure Wi-Fi is on & connected. (An absolute must)
Open Opera Mini
*Follow the instructions and attempt to go to a site (any)
*After you accept the EULA agreement & see the site you just tried to open, exit Opera Mini.

Return to
Preferences>Java VM> select Opera Mini
Set the bar that says Memory Maximum 4MB, all the way up to 8MB or 32MB.

Enjoy.

Also if you want full pages and better imaging, use these settings:

Inside Opera Mini 3
Go to Menu>Tools>Settings

Uncheck: Content folding
Uncheck: Animations (there seems to be a conflict
with this when it comes to loading other images)

Any of the other settings should do you fine.

Uncheck "Content Folding" in the Opera Settings menu under Tools.
