Opening a Taco Bell franchise?

I worked for Taco Bell for six years and left when I was an assistant manager. I then joined the Air Force and I am now getting ready to separate. I want to go to school and get a degree in business. I would like to open a Taco Bell franchise. The problem I see is you have to have a net worth of $400,000. I obviously don't have that. I can get a veteran loan to start up a franchise. But is there anything I can do for the net worth of $400,000? Any information is helpful. Thank you
