Hi
I have just recently bought a period property that was built in 1900. It has all its original features - sash windows, high ceilings etc. The kitchen is quite small and I was thinking of knocking down a wall and making the kitchen in to an open-plan kitchen-lounge. However, I am not sure if this would be suitable for the property as its so old and has all its original features etc. Also, I am planning to refurbish the property and then sell it in a few months, and my market is generally elderly people age 50+. I am thinking maybe an open-plan kitchen-lounge would be too modern for them? Should I just stick with the small kitchen or make it open-plan?
Thanks!
