Open a Word doc in PHP and resave?

Hi

I'm at the stage where I'm able to write HTML to a Word Doc, but the Word doc needs a Header and Footer. Ideally I'd like to open a Word Doc with headers and footers add the HTML from PHP and save it again.

Any ideas?
I need to format the Word doc with Word Headers and Footers.
