I live in a Mattamy house, and this house is the SH!TIEST house I've ever set foot in.
- The acoustics suck: you can hear everything your neighbours are doing and saying in the street with all the windows and doors closed.
- The Master bedroom doesn't have a closet, but it's connected to bedroom #2 via a doorway.
- Bedrooms #3 and #4 are connected via a walk-in closet that must be shared by both rooms.
- The door to access the garage, the main floor bathroom door, and the basement door all open into the same space.
- The front door opens into the front foyer and there's only enough room for ONE person to enter and take of their shoes at a time.
- When it rains, it sounds like the water is hitting the ceiling right above the bedrooms.
- When it's windy it sounds like someone is dragging a huge wooden beam across the attic floor.
- The interior walls sound like they're paper thin. You can hear everything someone is saying in the next room when they're using their normal indoor speaking voice.
This house is only 5 years old. Is this normal with other homes?
