Only for young people!! Concerns about writing a book!?

If you are young,11, 12, 13, 14, do you have to do lots of stuff to make a book around 100 pages. Like do you have to work as hard as grown ups that make 100 page books? Should i expect to have to research a lot or have my ideas flow onto the page, and be excited to return, because i try to write books, (i am age 12) but i normally get bored!!
