Only criminals should be fearful of surveillance. Agree?

Why should I fear surveillance if I don't:

- Take drugs (legal or illegal).
- Challenge the 9/11 Commission findings.
- Express disrespect for government or leaders.
- Participate in civic disobedience.
- Join the Communist Party.
- Participate in demonstrations against the war.
- Act as an activist against corporate polluters.
- Make fun of the policies of our great Home Land Security Department.
- Express wacky concerns over the loss of civil liberties.
- Buy into the assertions of our venerated free and independent mass media.
- Criticize WallMart or Monsanto.
- Believe a conspiracy theory.
- Fight fluoridation in my community.
- Actively participate politically in a party that is not Democratic or Republican.
- Endure a virtual strip search and extra radiation exposure.
- Question medical authorities about the efficacy of many drug and surgical interventions.

I will not be put on any Homeland Security watch list or no fly list because I'm politically inert. Why should I even consider objecting to heightened security. If one does obey, obey, obey, then only the tin hats get detained and put in camps when a crises or rebellion occurs.

Why should I be fearful of surveillance? Big brother, ah Uncle Sam, is all good, is he not?
That troublemaker Martin Luther King deserved FBI surveillance, don't you think, Tom?
