Our family wanted to change from the Movies West to the Super Channel. So I went and did it online and within 15 minutes the programming changed, but I noticed we lost the SportsnetHD and TSNHD channels. So I went back online and checked and the only way to get them was to uncheck everything in HDTV and choose the channels in HD Theme Packs. So I did this and resubmit the order and now the programming hasn't changed at all. Tried resubmitting multiple times and it said it was successful. Tried resetting the receiver without any success. Still missing those channels. Should I just call Bell and see whats up?

That would be my suggestion as you seem to have little choice in the matter. Personally, I'd never adjust programming using the online options. There are too many exceptions and items not covered online.

I've been burned a few times by changing programming online (lost NHL Centre Ice every time). So now..as painful as it is, I call to make my changes.

The system is created in a way that it creates those type of problem...

When I was working there when the HS pacakge was different than it isright now. It was 1 package that includes all channels. Now they have a few themes so things might be different...

When agents were adding the HD package, and even if client had the "pre required" (like suscribing to the SD theme in case of TSN and Sportsnet) the agent had to also add TSN and Sportsnet. I often saw clients calling back complaining that the only HD channels they weren't receiving was TSN or Sportnet when in fact it was only that they forgot to check those channels when they added the HD pack.

When you had programming "on line", since the system, for some reason, can not verify if you have all the pre-required to get some channels (like suscribing to Sports 1 to order NHL) it just blocks that programming. A simple phone call solves the situation, but, unfortunatly, you could be on hold for a long time before you get an agent.

Even if you are upset that this situation happened the agent still has to make a sales attempt in case that specific call is being listened to. The sales part counts for a 30% of the rating for a call (that number could have changed since I left BellTV). That rating will influence whether he gets a bonus or not

The possible loss of NHL Center Ice is why I'm waiting til the hockey season is over before switching to the new HD packages (I want TLCHD) online. I don't feel like wasting my time trying to call in.
