anyoen else seen this movie, this surprised me as i didnt think robin willaims would pull it off but he is a fantastic actor in it

I thought it was quite good erm 7 out of 10. That dream sequence bit made me jump you know where blood shoots out from Robin Williams eyes!

It was a good story line and sometimes you felt sorry for Robin Williams character and is some scenes you was shocked by his actions.

He lived for his job so to speak.

I've not seen this yet - saw it advertised when I was in the States last year and thought it looked good, I'll have to check it out.

Robin Williams is pretty good in Insomnia, Dead Poets Society and Awakenings as well...

If you watch it on DVD then be sure to check the interview with Robin Williams and the director of One Hour Photo within the extras section. Robin Williams is absolutely hilarious during that interview he had me in stitches!

I watched this at the cinema when it was released and I was not that impressed by it, but I think I will give it another chance on DVD, if only to see that interview you are talking about

I rented it on Wednesday and I enjoyed it, for the most part.

The ending annoyed me, though, as it seemed to end too quickly. It would have been better if Sy had have went on after being arrested and possibly escaped, tried to kill the cheating husband or something.

My sister summed my feelings all up when she said just before the end, (but we didn't know it was going to end at that point): "If this movie enRAB now, I'm gonna punch the TV...". That's how I felt, the film should have had an extra 20 minutes showing what happened after the arrest / questioning.

Agreed, but you have to give Williams his due - he completey became Sy, until I almost forgot he ever did Mork or Popeye or Mrs Doubtfire, but then I watched the extra features, and it all came flooding back to me. I love him as an actor but can't always understand why he does some films (Bicentenial Man?)

Personally, I would say that unless you love Robin Williams, you should rent this one before you buy it. The ending does stink.
