One Film you have watched the most ?

Err I don't really watch films over and over again. I guess it's because I'm young.

Probably LOTR, I've seen that about 4 or 5 times. Or Back to the Future, 5 times I think.

Contact.

Fun mix of a lot of different genres.

Sci-Fi but also a chick flick at the same time if such a thing is possible.

And nice bit of piano music at the end as well. Am always a sucker for a sad tune.

What is the single film you have watched the most times ?

Give a rough estimate of the amount of times you have seen that film .

Mine is ...

Raiders of the Lost Ark ( 75 - 100 viewings)

what does the film you repeatedly watch say about you, and what do you guys get out of it ??? Like I wrote on a Shawshank thread I caught the film during a rough time in my life, have watched it many times cos to me it really felt like it was giving me emotional support etc..............

I don't much care for watching films over and over. If I haven't seen a film for a while and have nothing to do then I may watch it again if it is on.

When I was younger there were a few films that I watched over and over.
Weekend At Bernies, Big Trouble In Little China, Police Academy and Back To The Future.

Wow! some people really are excessive with their re-watching of films, not being judgemental or owt but I'd probably grow to hate my favourite films if I watched them over 100 times!

My most-watched are probably:

Terminator 2
Stars Wars
Alien

Each of them 20+ viewings, Star Wars possibly up to 40.

That's kinda what happened to me. My most watched film is the original Star Wars - over 100 viewings, I'm sure. When I was younger, I used to watch it almost every day. I don't hate it now but I've seen it so many times it's not nearly so much fun to watch any more.

Mine has to be a tie between the Goonies and Adventures in Babysitting. I went through a childhood phase of watching one of them (or both) every single day :o

Actually, it's probably more Goonies.

The Blues Brothers (1980)
Dawn Of the Dead (1978)

saw em both when VHS was a luxury, two films EVERYONE at school had seen.
Still love em (possibly even more*!) nearly 30 years later:)

*as i now undersatnd the consumerist, social, satire of "Dawn"-
and the genius of Belushi-after reading "Wired" over 20 years ago.

Terminator 2. One Summer in the mid to late 90's, I watched it almost everyday of the summer school break.

And I've watched it atleast 5-10 times a year since.

That's a frightening amount of hours, hours I'll never get back... but who cares!!
