On World Of Warcraft, how do you get the purple letters when in Trade City chat?

Like when you Trade weapons, and such it has purple letters that you ctrl click on and it shows it on your character. Yes I'm sorta to the game deal xD (played in past starting to play once again) I hav a lvl 20 mage horde ftw((:
