With all the talk and scientific "consensus" and disputes about Global Climate Change and whether or not it's caused by man - I have some questions I've never seen answered:
Who established the baseline against which the climate has changed, if it has?
What criteria was used to establish this baseline?
By what criteria was that baseline declared the optimum global temperature/condition?
How do we know that optimum global climatic performance won't be achieved at a different (higher or lower) global temperature?
