The 90s Spiderman animated series episode trilogy Secret Wars.
Incase you don't remember the episode what happened is the Beyonder took Dr Octopus, Dr Doom, Red Skull, Lizard, & some other villain & sent them to a very peaceful high tech planet to see who would win in a battle between good & evil. He sent Spiderman there & gave him a teleportation machine that had only enough power to teleport 7 people. He summoned the Fantastic 4, Captain America, Ironman, & Storm. He said he wanted Storm because she could control the weather & thought she would help against the Beyonder.
Anyways why didn't he summon Thor? Thor is a god! he is alot more powerful than Storm, he can control the weather, & if anyone would help against the Beyonder he could. Also when they were fighting these giant armored worms the heroes didn't do good against them. But if Spiderman would have summoned Thor then Thor could have smashed those worms with his hammer.
