upload the photo to photobucket
edit photo
click effects
greyscale
advanced options
apply to....painted region
paint over what you want black and white
if you make a mistake click...original and go over it..itll change it back to color
They use photo shop.
You have to download it, but I don't know exactly how to do it on there, I don't have photo shop, you can look on google, or something.

you dont need photoshop
i done it to my picture on my myspace..
jus upload your picture toi photobucket..then make the whole picture black and white..
then use the paintbrush thingy to undo the black and white wherever you want the original color at??
it may sound weird because of the way i put it..
jus upload it to photobucket..and edit it..youll find it sooner or later..
