on my nokia 5800 the apps wont show up on menu screen, help?

like i said the apps section wont show up in the menu. when i first switch the phone on the app option is there but once i click on it a warning comes up saying the memory is full please close some apps but there have been no apps open and it wont let me remove them or uninstall them. then once i try and go back onto the menu screen the app option has disappeared and i cant get any apps open. anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? thanks
 
hmm....sounds like a tricky problem. Im afraid ive never had this problem, but if memory really is the problem, then you can always connect your phone, use nokia pc suite to open nokia application installer, select some apps to bin, and then delete them. This should free up some space.
If its not the memory thats the problem...them im sorry but I don't know how to fix it :(
