On my first valve on french horn, its touching the rim on the bottom.?

I had this before and my teacher took a screw driver ande tightened it. DO you know how I can do this?

I think i know what u are talking about so it makes a noise everytime u let go of the valve. You have to unscrew the screw and then make the valve level to the rest then tighten the string without moving the valve then rescrew it.

I like Joe's idea. But always remember, should worse come to worse, send it in to the local music store. They should probably be able to fix something like this on-spot at your school.
