On my blackberry i can't find my pictures?

i just got the blackberry curve 8530 from sprint. i love it. i just can't find where all the pictures i've taken and saved are. i looked in my media folder then, from there click pictures. I CAN'T FIND THEM!! i am getting very inpatient. it says that it was saved to my blackberry's media card....is that different then what i've been trying? please help
