On my 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9, I have engine error codes P0455 and P0422... What could be

P0422=Main Catalyst Eff below Threshold Bank1

The truck has 132,000 miles, and sometimes like every couple days as I pull out of my driveway or parking space all of a sudden after running fine within a half a mile it will sputter and choke and will jerk but engine will still manage to run. After reaving the engine a minute or so, It will run just fine. What could be the problem, I don't have a lot of money for repair to I can to try to fix it myself if possible before putting a dent in the wallet...
 
your EVAP could be from your gas cap not being on tight to a leak in your evaporate canister you should call a dodge dealer and ask the advice of the service department they can help you with what to look for and the phone call is free
 
Take the - negative battery cable off for five minutes, make sure your fuel cap is tight and re-connect the cable. If this don't take care of it you'll need to go to the dealer and have the air leak found.
