On Mac Leopard: I want to search for a specific word or phrase within all my files on

my work's server.? When I use spotlight or the search box, I only get results that include that phrase in the title of the file. If my search word is not part of the title I get no results, but I'm searching for a word that is clearly in all of my files. What gives? I thought this is what the "Contents" search was for. It works just fine when I search my computer, just not the sever. Help!
