For example, I want to sell a game system. I state in my listing if the bids reach this price I will throw in this game. And if it reaches $5 more I will throw in an extra controller. I know it would be stupid if I make the intervals the same amount as the incentive items. but I honestly really don't care very much about the incentive items so they will be cheaper.

I will make my example more specific: I am selling a slightly used wii. If the bids reach 160, I will add an extra controller. if they reach 185, I will add 7 games. and if it reaches 200, i will give you 7 more games and a travel case.
I have never seen anyone do this so i am afraid that it is illegal according to ebay's policy.
