On O2, Orange and Vodafone every iPhone contract you're limited to only 500 text messages, why? I think there is one contract on Orange, where if you pay something around £120 everything is unlimited. I'm assuming that the majority of people with the iPhone contract has the £35/£40. My contract at the moment (O2), I pay £35, which gets me 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data. On the £35 a month iPhone contract (O2) you'd get 600 minutes, 500 text messages and unlimited data. On another phone, most networks would offer unlimited texts, so why is the iPhone contract only limited to 500?
Also, the Palm Pre is the only other phone that has the same type of contract as the iPhone.
