on a charcoal grill, do you cook on foil, or on the rack?

I want to grill some shish kebabs tonight, am i suppose to put foil down over the rack, or do i lay the kebabs right on there? thanks

No foil! It will keep them from cooking evenly. Be sure to rotate them every few minutes.

You would lay the kebabs straight onto the rack.

Right on the rack.. you may want to oil the rack to prevent sticking.
