On a 5 day relationship break to "find herself" my girlfriend had sex with

2 different people. I'm confused.? We had been together for about 4 years. Living together for 2. She said she wanted to take a break to find herself and wasn't looking for anything else. About a week into the break she called me because she wanted to get back together, she said she loved me blah blah. But I found out she had sex with someone over the 5 day break...which didnt even really feel like a break for that matter because we talked on the phone for at least an hour a day... and then after prying more I found out she was with someone else. She says she's really sorry and still loves me, but I have a hard time believing it. Even if she does should I forgive her for something like that? I still love her, but I hate her at the same time.

Basically I'm confused. Anyone have advice?
 
the real question is can you forget that it happened or will it always be on your mind?
