on 03 04 & 05 Honda Accords, are the steering wheel controls supposed to light up?

i bought an 04 accord and since i bought it the steering wheel controls dont light up... so i cant see them at night..i noticed on my brother in laws car his steering wheel controls do light up so i was just wondering if mine were supposed to too.
