So I'm on the Resistance: Fall of Man forum talking some stuff about future sales and things. A poll comes up about who would own in a fight. Master Chief is one of them and I think highly of the dude in green armor so I put him. Hands down, against the crowd (Dante, etc), I think he'd win. Then I get attacked and suddenly am called a fanboy. I'm like holy shit kid, I have a PS3 and I'm loving it but wtf. The Chief rocks!" But he hears none of it and states that I hide behind markets sales and stuff like that instead of my own opinions. I was like

So yeah, I can see how some of you MS fags get so pussy hurt when the PS3 kids strike back. But on a more serious note, I've noticed that the flaming (outside of Light Speed's nonsense) has slowed down quite a bit.
 
ok, so ur sayin microsoft aint monopolizing the market software wise, or PC wise?
sony didnt drop the ball, the system is all around better in any category, specs prove that part.
only microsoft fans come in and say master chief owns all, please dont tell me u think of urself as neutral.
ohh yeah, dont forget the 360 had a whole year on the ps3, lets wait a year, and see what the ps3 has to offer then.

trust me, i get how money can turn the government of a whole country even into slimi creedy crooks, but, u know, keep this SONY website, to sony discussions, cause i dont go around in microsoft sites saying that snake(for example) rocks the soxx of any other person. that was pretty much all i tried to tell ya, bringing in the revenue of a company and its strategies does not prove that ur point is vallid, it just says u like to hide behind sums and figures instead of ur ow ideas.

anywho, master chief "looks" cool, but lets face it, weapons make the heroes, right?
lol, dont think i hate u or any other person here that likes the other companies, i love both sony and nintendo, but microsoft is just too low, the fact taht it buys out game companies just makes me sick, they really either need to step it up themselves, or maybe actually try to play fair, and not try to take over everybody XD
 
Wow... just wow. That's pretty bad. Did you ask him to consider Chief is from the future and the fact he has a shield would kick whatever 1990's-2000 dude in Resistance's ass by that fact alone.

Plus... yeah... Master Chief is just a fucking bad ass... if you're going by actual rank... a Master Chief is the highest enlisted rank in the Navy (he's probably part of a Interstellar Naval Special Forces unit which is why he's a Master Chief).
 
I wish they would and I wish they wouldn't. As much as I like Halo as a series and wanna see more stories with it. I also wanna see what else Bungie can do.

Dude, Bungie should just make quality Halo games every two years or so. I mean shit, the RTS is coming out. Multiple battles across different Halos, Earth, Onyx, etc?

Following through with the books, I wonder what the "Sword" planet is. We know the Ark is Earth and Onyx is the Shield world. This is some intense shit.

On another note, I've never seen so much support for a game before. While Final Fantasy certainly is an amazing series, they never really followed up on one group of core characters. Yeah, FFVII got the most play with its slew of lame releases outside of Advent Children but novel support as well? Shit. Eric Neylund is an awesome writer and I am very impressed with his work.
 
Unless you're a PC fan, then its an eternity. Now that MS has said that you'll need Vista for Halo 2, I've given up on the PC. Forever. In another two years all games will probably need Vista. PC Halo 3 will probably then come out in December 2010. No thanks.
