I dont think this is new news looks like it could be very old, but i was doing some searching on google for fun and came across some remakes in the works or rumored, god help us. :cry:

Cameron Diaz for the sound of music?, lol, why dont they just use bloody LynRABay Lohan? or Hilary Duff at least Hilary is a singer.

I cannot believe how many remakes hollywood is thinking about remaking or at least just chatting about it, its disturbing.
 
If you read the first link you will see it is a load of rubbish.

Julie Andrews was simply asked who she would like to play the part in a theatrical version of the film: i.e. on stage! And the rumour is triggered by rumours that ALW may be using a TV reality show to cast a remake. Well we all know that he did use a TV reality show, but that was not to cast a remake of the film, simply a revival production in London.
