I notice Argentina are going to play Messi, Tevez etc in their olympic football team, I thought the olympics was just for amateurs so how is this happening?
Football has been included in every Olympic Games except 1896 and 1932 as a men's competition sport. Women's football was added to the official programme in 1996.
Argentina won it 4 years ago in Athens. I think countries are taking it more seriously now because a gold medal is up for grabs.
