Olive Garden unjustly fired me...?

I know in Minnesota we are an at will employer state and here you can get fired for any reason and no reason what so ever. Just fill for unemployment and try to find something else.
 
I was fired because of a $6 cash handling error. That could have been corrected but instead I was fired. It was a mistake not a theft. I brought it up to a manager for correction. I have never had a complaint before or any cash handling errors.
Has this happened to anyone else? why and how did you bounce back (Rent, bills, new employment...)
