When it's time to eat, one of them (either the boy or the dog) speaks the names of foods, and his words become edible. The other keeps talking about what's going on, and he does not get to eat. This is only the little bit that I remember, and by older, I believe it was made in the 80's at the latest (my guess would be the 60's or 70's). Thanks.
