Old tv cartoon think was connected w/ popeye?

I don't remember what it was but it looked like the sane cartoon as popeye. I think it was a horse and a sheep. They were in the woods drinking beer I think maybe rootbeer. And they I think got drunk and were singing? Sorry that's all I remember. Oh I remember it was black and white. It was a while ago. Do you have any idea what this could be?
