Old sidescrolling game about a cat collecting yarn?

I know thats really obscure, but i can't remember he name of the game and it's driving me nuts.

I'm 99% sure you were a orange cat?
You collected yarn throughout a city, going really fast.
Sometimes the man-holes would shoot you up really high?
At the end of a level you got a chance to collect LOTS of yarn..

I wanna say it was on SNES but i really, cant remember.
