old school pinstriping!

I just got my tank and front fender pin-striped. The process was awesome to watch. The guy who did it just moved to Nashville Tn from Las Vegas. He has opened a shop in Nashville Tn and does all types of paint work. Check out the pics. The painters name is Josh Lemon, he does awesome old school pinstriping.

That's a dying trade. Used to be bigtime in the 70's & 80's. I got into the vinyl graphics business in the 90's and with the advent of computer cut graphic's it really put a crimp on the art of hand pin stripping. I'm glad to see some are still doing it. It is considered old school now.

I searched for someone in Tn that does pinstriping and everything I found was vinyl or some kinda sticker or something along those lines. Hopefully since Josh Lemon is a young guy he can continue or even bring back the dying art. It really is a beautiful trade and should be continued. Luckily, he set up shop here, so I didn't have to go to Vegas.
