old playstation game. anyone remember?

Ohkay,
so i'm gonna buy an old playstation,
cause i'm missing all the old school
games and stuff,
and there's one game i used to play
that i loved, but i can't remember
the name of it!

I remember it was kind of a
dark game. you could
play single play or multiplayer
and you could either fight eachother,
or be on a team and fight the
people in the game.

and all the characters were like
crazy people, like guys in straight jackets,
evil doctors, gorilla men, or crazy dead
chicks or something.. lol
i don't really know how to explain it..

i don't think it was that popular..
but if you can think of anything
pleaase let me know.
i know it wasn't Silent Hill,
cause we used to play that too.
this was a totally different game.
 
I think it either would have been Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey or Oddworld Abe's Exodus. They were both multi and single player and where a bit weird but were also very fun. Hope that helped.
