I have an old iMac computer, orange and has the slide out CD drive. It has the original Mac OS on it, and I want to upgrade it to Mac OS X. I was wondering how to do it and where I can get download the OS. I can't find it anywhere. Anything but Mac OS, I can't even use ITunes on it. Any other tips to help my crappy computer are welcome. Thanks a lot ahead of time!

If you want to upgrade Mac OS X you're going to have to find an older version (10.3, maybe 10.4). The most recent version (10.5) doesn't support G3 processors like the one in your iMac.

If you have the right specs and enough memory, you can get the CD on amazon and then follow the instructions to install (it's pretty easy).

i think to upgrade to osx you need to by what ever osx you want or have yu tried looking at apple updates hope it helps but i think you have to buy it
