i (sadly) own a 1990 honda vision ne50 mff moped/scooter thing,
its so bad looking it cannot be catagorisied.
anyway, the top speed used to be 27mph, but has dropped to 25
and it cannot go past 25mph even when goin down a steep hill where
i used to get 35. its like an automatic break (which the bike does not have)
and when i try goin past 25 it 'chokes' or 'coughs'. its not like it jolts
or jumps. its hard to explain. also it takes about 2 seconds for the bike
to start, as opposed to it starting in like .5 of a second.
it passed its mot fine, no problems about 2 weeks ago. fitted a new
battery a few weeks prior to the mot test aswell.
the oil usage is massive aswell, im using alot more than i should be
i think. 1 tank of oil would last me about 30-40 miles.
oh yeah, im not taking it to a mechanic, because im so short on
money at the moment, i have 15 pounds for food and petrol to last
me 2 weeks. i fill my bike up with 2 pounds every day. so im f#cked
