Okay, that rant by Charlie Sheen is in the news, but was he actually anti-Semitic?

He was unquestionably rude, hostile and overly personal in his remarks, but isn't it a stretch to say he was direspecting someone's Jewish culture? What do you think?
Should he have been suspended from his job or was this an over zealous response on the part of the studio?
